Rounaq K. Choudhari
Director
A University of Bath (UK) graduate, Rounaq K. Choudhari entered the business world at 22, gaining hands-on experience in façades and cladding. At 24, he founded Sumicasa Luxuries Pvt. Ltd., focused on integrating advanced technology into building materials.
He has delivered landmark smart-glass projects, including the General Aviation Terminal at MIAL, Mumbai, and later expanded into high-performance safety and security solutions through Firetec, specialising in bullet-resistant and fire-rated systems.
As Director of Firetec and Fireview India, Rounaq has overseen high-profile projects including Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIAL), BeFree Towers at GIFT City, Prestige Tech Park, Marriott Marquee Hotels in Delhi, and several VVIP airport projects across India.
Recognised as a Forbes 30 Under 30 entrepreneur and recipient of the Indian Achiever Award (2022 & 2026), he continues to drive innovation across architecture, façades, advanced building technology, and high-performance safety solutions.
